Dee has been part of Austin’s comedy scene for a while, but a fresh and updated look was in order. We wandered downtown for a true photowalk and found some hip nooks and crannies….and we laughed our tails off! She is one FUNNY gal!

I always enjoy working with people who are coaches of life. Regardless of their specific niche of the industry and/or their particular technique, they have a fabulous manner about them, communicate really well, and are always so much fun to drag in front of a camera. (Yes, I’m stereotyping….but in a good way!) Donna Lipman exudes friendly and supportive.
I know Donna probably cringed a little when I said, “Let’s try the parking garage”, but the images from that spot were some of my favorites.
This is the one Donna liked best. No, you aren’t seeing triple. I’m showing you the three versions she received with her purchase: an uncropped print-quality image she can give her graphic designer for business cards and brochures, a web image to put on her site, and an avatar for facebook/Twitter and other social media. Of course, her versions come without the logo…that’s just here for my site.
Donna, thank you for a lovely session!
Samantha called us in a bit of a rush for new headshots for her dental practice’s new brochure. So we hopped over to her place, grabbed a few shots and got her favorite one ready for their graphic designer. We had a great time. Don’t you just love her smile?
Samantha, thank you so much for a lovely session. You were great to work with! We are happy to recommend West Family Dentistry to our family and friends.
If you are into women’s fashion at all, you have to follow @SewSister on Twitter. Her custom lingerie is to die for!
Megan needed both headshots and full-length images for an application, so we joined her at her home studio for a fun little session and a secret side project.
While she nervously awaits news from the application, we’ll continue to enjoy all that she has to share on Twitter.
We were lucky to get work with Belinda Mendoza of Design for Energy for some casual headshots for her social media needs. Did you know that Belinda has a history of increasing sales and employee performance at businesses? She can transform your space in ways you’d never consider. The little changes an untrained eye can’t see can make a huge difference in the way your customers feel.
We met Belinda at a Auditorium Shores where we could get into full shade on a bright day with backdrops—though small in headshots—of the Austin skyline and the park’s fountain.
At the same time, we also did another session….but that is for another post!
Thank you, Belinda, for allowing us to be part of your marketing and social media. We are honored to work with you and can’t wait to learn some Feng Shui techniques from you.
(As part of our headshots package, Belinda gets to select any image from the session. We will do a full retouching on that image according to her wishes and present her with a final image and a license for commercial use for both print and electronic needs.)
“I had some headshots done for some avatar pics and professional materials, and had met Lori at a networking event. I’m a photographer’s nightmare- awkward in front of a camera, close my eyes at the wrong time, and am never happy with my pictures. Lori put me right at ease- gave me a few pointers and even showed me the difference between the way I stood and her suggested stances. She helped me get comfortable right away and was totally easy to work with. I was absolutely ecstatic about the pictures. Lori is totally professional and she knows her stuff, but she’s also fun and great to work with. I would recommend As You Wish to anyone looking for a great photographer!”
