It was a joy and pleasure to meet the Kyrish family–and their daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren–at their home. Not everyone was excited for family portraits, which made for some great expressions!

Laura, Thank you so much for inviting us to join your family!
We just loved meeting the Lowe family at their home in Lakeway. We grabbed a few quick and fun portraits of them as they were making their home ready for both the holidays and an upcoming wedding reception!

Back to one of our favorite locations: Mayfield Park & Preserve, we met the Ortiz family. It was a very hot day, but we plowed through and got some smiles, anyway!

The Youngs have a gorgeous new slate/stone deck and waterfall, so family portraits there were a no-brainer!

Hilary and Sol have some beautiful kiddos and a lovely greenbelt behind their home that is just perfect for portraits. It’s always easier with tiny ones if you don’t have to get them dressed and in the car.

Gena did a bunch of research for her family portraits location, but ultimately selected one of our favorites: Mayfield Park and the grounds near Laguna Gloria.

Before the Granada family grows by two more feet, they wanted to capture one more series of family portraits. The front of their neighborhood made a lovely setting where we could keep cool on a very hot day.

The Turpin family wanted lush grounds for the setting for their maternity/family portraits, and just love the landscaping at our state capitol building. The grounds are well cared for and make a great setting for family portraits with a Texas twist.

We always love working pets into family portraits. They are so much fun and show off the whole family. Mueller Park is dog-friendly (and brand new!) so it made the perfect setting.

This little one gave us a real run for our money. Despite the very hot day, she was full of energy and wanted to run, Run, RUN. There isn’t much reasoning to be done with a 1 year old, so we just chased and played and had a fabulous time.
